Will Priyanka Chopra become Shahid's lucky charm once again?

Mumbai: After six back to back flops, Dil Bole Hadippa!, Chance Pe Dance, Paathshaala, Badmaash Company, Milenge Milenge and Mausam, actor Shahid Kapoor can now expect his rumored ex-girlfriend Priyanka Chopra to bring her some good luck for Teri Meri Kahani. The duo was last seen in Vishal Bharadwaj's hit Kaminey in which both the actors flaunted their full on chemistry. Now there is a chance that once again their on screen jodi might appeal the audience.

The actor said, "I think the audience really liked me and her (Priyanka) in Kaminey. It's always fun working with her. This film is very much different from Kaminey and nothing will look similar."

In the beginning, Shahid thought that the film which is actually based in the three different eras is a story of rebirths, but director Kunal Kohli clarified his doubts and detailed about the story.

"One day over coffee, Kunal said that he had an idea which he really loved, but it was not developed. It was just a one-line story. He told me it would be an entertaining love story with the same two actors in three different time periods," Shahid said.

"I, however, had reservations about doing a reincarnation film. Kunal assured me that it would be a romantic comedy. I found that interesting. I was not skeptical before signing the film because it's a very simple film. It's not complicated at all," he added.

Shahid is a personally fond of a character named Javed he played in the movie. He said, "His name is Javed and his only job is to pick up women. I really enjoyed playing Javed's version."

Reportedly, the actors were very cold towards each other on the sets but Shahid prefers to stick to professionalism and do not give undue importance to such issues. The movie is set to release on June 22.

"I don't deal with these situations. I just let them go. Just ignore this news and move on. These reports don't bother me," he said.

When asked for his favorite female co-star, he gave a diplomatic answer and said, "Do you think I will answer this question? Not for million bucks! My funda is never choose between women."

It is totally up to the audience to either welocome Shahid-Priyanka once again or just add one to Shahid's flop list.
