Rain likely on Sunday in Delhi as the city experiences muggy weather

"The sky will be generally cloudy and one or two spells of rains are expected on Sunday evening or night," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
The maximum and minimum temperature on Saturday were recorded at one notch above average at 34.1 degrees Celsius and 26.8 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The humidity wavered between a high of 95 and low of 56 percent.
Te maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 32 and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively, on Sunday.
A total of 489.1 mm of rain has been recorded in Delhi since the outbreak of monsoon June-end. The seasonal average for the whole monsoon is, however, still eight percent less than average.
Monsoon is expected to last in Delhi till September 20.
In August alone Delhi has received 378.8 mm of rain, which is 53 percent more than average for the month.
