Rain likely to soak the capital

New Delhi: The Sunday morning in capital was cloudy, with a temperature of 29.8 degree Celsius, which is three notches above the average for the season.

"The skies would remain cloudy. There is a possibility of light rains in some parts," said an India Meteorological Department official.

"The maximum and minimum temperatures will stay around 33 and 27 degrees Celsius," the official said.

At 8.30 a.m., 72 percent humidity was recorded.

The maximum temperature on Saturday settled at 35.7 degrees Celsius, two notches above the average.
