Mumbai: Several Bollywood biggies gathered at a five star hotel in order to pay tribute to late superstar Rajesh Khanna on his Chautha (condolence meeting).
As per reports, Khanna's chautha was held on July 21 and apart from family members, Dimple Kapadia, Twinkle Khanna, Rinke Khanna and Akshay Kumar, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan along with his wife, Sunil Shetty, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Tabu, Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Sussane Roshan, Rakesh Roshan and Jeetendra etc were present and paid homage to the superstar.
According to sources, Rajesh wished his farewell to be a happy one, hence his family decided to fulfil his wish and organised it in a grand way. Khanna's estranged wife Dimple spoke about his late husband while his grandson Aarav Kumar introduced his grandfather's audio clip.
Rajesh Khanna passed away on July 18 after prolonged illness. He was cremated on July 19 at the Vile Parle crematorium.
The actor, fondly called Kaka by his family and friends, started his career with the 1966 film Akhari Khat and went on to give hit films like Aradhana, Kati Patang, Anand and Amar Prem that propelled him to dazzling fame.
