Rani Mukherjee says, Aiyyaa will connect to every girl on 'manhunt'

Mumbai: Rani Mukherjee, who is all set for her forthcoming film Aiyyaa says that the flick is the story of every girl whose parents are desperate to get her married. In fact, she herself is one of those girls who are constantly poked for marriage.

The 34 year old said, "I think Aiyyaa character Meenakshi Deshpande is such that every girl, whose parents are trying to get her married, will identify with her. Even I, to some extent, identify with this character."

Rani plays a Maharashtrian girl in the movie, in which she falls for a man who smells good.

In the movie, releasing in October, Rani will be seen grooving to three different dance styles - lavani, belly dancing and Tollywood-style.

She enjoyed them all. "For me, shooting the songs of Aiyyaa have been very memorable. Every song is special and different. One song has belly dancing, the other is Tollywood-style dancing, another is a lavani," said Rani.

"So I enjoyed them, I had never done belly dancing before but I learnt it for this film. Then I also learnt lavani, and Tollywood dancing is a masti dance," she added.

Aiyyaa is directed by Sachin Kundalkar, and features actor Prithviraj opposite Rani.
