Mumbai: When Kareena Kapoor is set to wear her mother-in-law's ancestral outfit, would be husband Saif Ali Khan too will be seen in traditional outfit on his wedding day. The dress comprises of golden achkan and a turban designed by designer Raghavendra Rathore.

Detailing about the soon to be ready outfit, Rathore said that he will be wearing Banarasi brocade achkan without any embroidery. It will be having clean classic look with emphasis on cuts and detailing. The handmade couture dressing was his choice, he informed.

He said that Saif will team up the knee length achkan with Jodhpuri breeches and turban. It will also have a nicely worked pocket scarf. Rathore has designed a few other special dresses like velvet bandhgalas for lighter ceremonies. The dress will be worn with Kolhapuri or lace up shoe.

Apparently, the designer is in constant touch with Saif and is sharing all important inputs regarding the wedding costumes. In the mean time, soon to be bride Kareena's wedding gear, crafted by designer Manish Malhotra is already hogging all the lime light. Apart from sharing views and ideas, the couple supposedly shared sketches with their respective designers.

Rathore's connection with the actor developed during Eklavya, where he designed his royal and ethnic wardrobe.

The young designer is confident that duo's association will pave a new way to men's fashion scenario. With Saif being an acknowledged and admired style trendsetter, his wedding dress is anticipated to announce arrival of new fashion in the industry.
