Sajid toiling for Salman Khan’s Kick

Mumbai: After Dabangg and Wanted, Bollywood actor Salman Khan is all set to perform dangerous action sequences in his upcoming film Kick. Reports reveal that the action in the movie will be inspired from Jason Statham’s Transporter series. The movie will be directed by Shirish Kunder.

If we go with the gossips, producer Sajid Nadiawala is said to have brought a stunt co-ordinator who has previously worked with Jason Statham; all these efforts are co-ordinated to make a never-seen-before Bollywood action flick. Philippe Guegan is said to have been appointed for perfect stunt sequences, he synchronized actions in first Transporter.

Sajid Nadiawala himself popped up the idea of bringing a Hollywood stunt co-ordinator. Sources reveal, “From the time Sajid acquired the rights to remake the south Indian hit Kick in Hindi with Salman, he has been thinking of ways to not only make it in a different way, but also take it to another level as far as the action sequences are concerned.”

The source further added, “The idea is to have more realistic, raw and hardcore action, so that the viewer can comprehend what the baddies actually feel when Salman kicks or punches them. Interestingly, larger than life elements will be little more subtle than Salman’s shirt coming off in Dabangg and Bodyguard.”

Producer Sajid Nadiawala was unavailable for comments.
