And when it is one's birthday today, how can the day pass as a normal one! Yes, we are talking about our Dabangg star Salman Khan who is celebrating his 48th birth anniversary today.

On the occasion, Sallu Miya has thrown a grand birthday bash at his Panvel farmhouse which was joined by his family and some of the biggest names of Bollywood.

On top of our list is Aamir Khan, who is one of closest friends of the superstar and is also delighted with the success of his recent release Dhoom 3. The star threw the party in advance to spend most of his time with family. Along with Aamir, Sajid Nadiadwal also joined the bash.

According to the media reports, the Swedish-Greek actress Elli Avram was also present at the party along with his Bigg Boss 7 housemate Armaan Kohli. The music director duo of Armaan and Amal Malik, who have composed the music of Salman's upcoming flick 'Jai Ho', were also amongst the attendees. However, Aditya Pancholi couldn't make it to the party but his som Sooran Pancholi was present here on his behalf.

Not only this, but the directors and producers who are working with the superstar on their different projects were also present at the party. Amongst those, Sooraj Barjatya was also present as he is scheduled to work with Salman from the next half of 2014.

Boney Kapoor also marked his presence at the party who is all set to work with Salman on his next project 'No Entry Mein Entry'. Ramesh Taurani, who is working with him on his upcoming projects, was also there along with Kabir Khan who was the director of blockbuster film 'Ek Tha Tiger'. Meanwhile, the reporters also spotted David Dhawan along with his son Varun Dhawan at the celebrations.

However, the media reports are claiming it to be one of the most lavish parties ever where good food was served along with a chance of spending quality time with the family. After all it is the birthday of the superstar Salman Khan, so how can anyone keep himself away from such a party.
