Salman Khan in trouble again

Mumbai: Late lyricist Shailendra's granddaughter Priyanka has slapped a legal notice on Dabangg 2 makers for allegedly copying a tune produced by her grandfather. The film stars Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles.

Priyanka, daughter of Shaily Shailendra has claimed that a portion of song titled Pandey Ji is lifted from Teesri Kasam's Chalat Musafir Moh Liya Re.

She insists that the credit for the song should not go to Sajid-Wajid, instead the makers should acknowledge Teesri Kasam. Retaliating at the comment, the composer duo said, "How can there by a copyright on folk tunes?"

Priyanka in her statement explained the cause of discontent and said, "Nobody informed me that they are going to copy the tune of our song for Dabangg2. I stay abroad and when I came to Mumbai and heard the song, I sent a legal notice to Arbaaz Khan Productions, music directors Sajid-Wajid, actors Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha."

"No reply came to my legal notice, and when the period lapsed, they asked me for a compromise", said Priyanka.

Priyanka is now making her mind to move to Bombay High Court.

We wonder how Salman will react to the whole situation, its just seven days left for the film to go on floors.
