Ek Tha Tiger starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif has collected Rs 33 crore on its opening day and shattered the record of Agneepath which collected Rs 22 crore on day one.
Getting into a 100 crore club is not as easy but for Salman Khan we must say that it is not a big deal. Here are some of the movies of the superstar that crossed the hundred crore mark.
Wanted: The movie released in 2009 and gave Salman a fresh start in Bollywood. It also entered 100 crore club. Ayesha Takia starred opposite Khan.
Dabangg: It opened to generally positive reviews and broke various box-office records upon release. The movie set another box office record, grossing Rs 80.87 crore in its first weekend. Dabangg went on to gross Rs 215 crore world wide.
Bodyguard: The highest grossing Bollywood film of 2011 crossed the Rs. 100-crore mark with net collections of Rs. 145 crore. The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor.
Ready: Upon release, Ready became the second highest opening day grosser, as well as the second highest weekend grossing Bollywood film, after Dabangg, another Salman Khan-starrer. The movie collected Rs 122 crore.
All these movies made Salman the highest scoring Khan on the 100-crore scale and now his latest release Ek Tha Tiger has broken previous records and is likely to surpass the 100 crore mark very soon.
