Second ODI: Dhoni chooses to bat against Sri Lanka

Hambantota: The Men in Blue would try and do what they did in the first One Day International against the hosts Sri Lankans.

In hope to post yet another swirling total on the score board, India won the toss and decided to bat against Sri Lanka in the second One-day International here.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the Indian captain, said after winning the toss that the wicket is quite nice for batting, hence, they would bat first.

On the other hand, Lasith Malinga and Company would try and restrict the Indian openers Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag as cheap as possible.

Sri Lanka: Tillakaratne Dilshan, Upul Tharanga, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene (captain), Dinesh Chandimal, Angelo Mathews, Lahiru Thirimanne, Thisara Perera, Rangana Herath, Isuru Udana, Lasith Malinga.

India: Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Irfan Pathan, Ravichandran Ashwin, Zaheer Khan, Pragyan Ojha, Umesh Yadav.
