Sensex falls in morning trade, down 65.20 pts

Mumbai: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) benchmark index for the Indian equities markets on Friday was trading on a weak note in the morning session.

The 30-scrip sensitive index (Sensex) of the BSE was trading at 17,473.47 points, down by 65.20 points or 0.37 percent at 9:36 am.

The 50-scrip S&P CNX Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was trading at 5,324.70 points, down by 2.60 points or 0.05 percent.

The BSE midcap index was trading at 0.12 percent down while the BSE smallcap index was 0.10 percent higher.
