Sensex marginally up at close
 benchmark index for the Indian equities markets on Wednesday ended on a positive note.
The 30-scrip sensitive index (Sensex) of the BSE which opened at 16,865.72 points closed at 16,880.51 points, up by 17.71 points or 0.11 percent.

Mumbai: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) benchmark index for the Indian equities markets on Wednesday ended on a positive note. The 30-scrip sensitive index (Sensex) of the BSE which opened at 16,865.72 points closed at 16,880.51 points, up by 17.71 points or 0.11 percent.
The 50-scrip S&P CNX Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) closed at 5,121.45 points, up by 5.55 points or 0.11 percent.
The BSE midcap index closed 0.21 percent down while the BSE smallcap index was 0.13 percent high.

ONGC: 268.70 points up 7.40 points
HUL: 445.90 points, up 13.10 points
INFY: 2471.20 points, up 14.05 points
ITC: 243.60 points, up 0.55 points
Top Losers:
MARUTI: 1107.50 points, down 38.80 points
NTPC: 154.20 points, down 3.40 points
BAJAJAUTO: 1561.20 points, down 10.25 points
BAT: 307.65 points, down 1.05 points
