Vancouver: TOIFA sees the best it could have in its maiden edition as Superstars Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai charm the audience with their magical performances on the gala eve of Saturday.
This was Aish's first stage performance abroad after attaining motherhood with daughter Aaradhya and we must say that the gorgeous actor amazed everyone with her dazzling on stage show. Later, Shahrukh made a bombastic stage entry amid loud cheers and applause. Dressed in a long red jacket, SRK looked spectacular. The star thanked Vancouver city through a small speech before commencing his act. He said, "I love you all people, thanks for all the love and respect that you people have shown for me".

Anurag Basu took the honor for best director while Ranbir and Priyanka walked away with best actors male and female trophies respectively. Newbie Ileana D'Cruz, bagged the best debut female award, while the male counterpart was handed over to Ayushmann Khurrana for blockbuster Vicky Donor
In the critics' awards category, Gauri Shinde won the best debut director award for English Vinglish
, best actor female critics award went to Deepika Padukone for Cocktail
; best actor male award was given to Irrfan for Paan Singh Tomar
. Rishi Kapoor won the best actor in a negative role trophy for Agneepath
. Anurag Kashyap-directed Gangs of Wasseypur
