Vancouver: TOIFA sees the best it could have in its maiden edition as Superstars Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai charm the audience with their magical performances on the gala eve of Saturday.

This was Aish's first stage performance abroad after attaining motherhood with daughter Aaradhya and we must say that the gorgeous actor amazed everyone with her dazzling on stage show. Her performance was one of the highlights at the gala night and came true to everyone's expectations. Looking gorgeous in a black free-flowing attire, she not only dazzled her fans but made her performance a memorable one. The beautiful actor danced to songs like title track of Dhoom 2 and Khwaja mere Khawaja.

Later, Shahrukh made a bombastic stage entry amid loud cheers and applause. Dressed in a long red jacket, SRK looked spectacular. The star thanked Vancouver city through a small speech before commencing his act. He said, "I love you all people, thanks for all the love and respect that you people have shown for me".

The 47 year old actor danced to his popular tracks Suraj Hua Maddham, Challa Ki Labh Da Phire, Chamak Challo. Khan's fans apparently went wild with his enchanting show.

Talking of the awards, Ranbir Kapoor starer Barfi! was bestowed with the best film, best director, best actor male and female awards. Anurag Basu took the honor for best director while Ranbir and Priyanka walked away with best actors male and female trophies respectively. Newbie Ileana D'Cruz, bagged the best debut female award, while the male counterpart was handed over to Ayushmann Khurrana for blockbuster Vicky Donor.

In the critics' awards category, Gauri Shinde won the best debut director award for English Vinglish, best actor female critics award went to Deepika Padukone for Cocktail; best actor male award was given to Irrfan for Paan Singh Tomar. Rishi Kapoor won the best actor in a negative role trophy for Agneepath. Anurag Kashyap-directed Gangs of Wasseypur, a gritty celluloid saga of the coal mafia and blood-thirsty vengeance, won the critics' best film award.

Other winners in the popular award category are as follows:
Best supporting role female: Dolly Ahluwalia for Vicky Donor.
Best supporting actor male: Annu Kapoor for Vicky Donor.
Best actor comic role: Abhishek Bachchan for Bol Bachchan.
