MUMBAI: Now that comes as quite a jolt to SRK’s female fans and a shock to most of the boys who never thought that Salman Khan’s ex would go to an extent of kissing Salman’s apex foe, that too several times in the same movie. Anyway, the two superstars of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif lip-locked and how!

Previously, most of the prominent actors of Bollywood refrained themselves from lip-locking on the silver screen but tentatively they have figured things out with the taboo-ed parts of scripts and have overcome their “principles” to get engaged in the act somehow.

In Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Shahrukh Khan too, who throughout his career insisted that he would never do a lip-lock ultimately would kneel down to his own assurance. In his statement, he tried clearing his way out of the bigamy. He said, “I will be very honest. Adi (Aditya Chopra), Yashji and Katrina, and I say this with all humility and thankfulness to them, that they knew I was awkward, I had issues and I am a very easy actor to work with. They are like my family and they said, ‘You don’t have to do this’ and then they got together and they forced me and then even paid me for it.” “So when heroines say that ‘I wore a bikini because the story demanded me to,’ I did it because the story demanded it. Believe me or don’t believe it.”

Media persons, while axing questions on the same, tried getting extracting explanations, but with a different perspective. Media persons asked Shahrukh about the reaction of his kids when they saw their father kissing Katrina Kaif, which can be said as a new kind of event for them and the actor-dad as well. He said, “For me the film is more than just the kissing scene, and I am an actor and that’s what I do for a living. Not only my kids, (but also) people around here (media), everyone knows that I am an actor. So there is no awkwardness or intense reaction to what I do on screen.”

Shahrukh created a media frenzy, soon after the premiere of the Yash Raj film. As of Katrina, she has earlier kissed Hrithik Roshan in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra are few of the many stars who on one point or another went off-limit to lip-lock their co-stars. So far Salman Khan seems to be the only star standing tall to his say as of now. Does anybody know, what’s his breakage point?
