Shahrukh Khan's biggest opener ever is JTHJ | Devgn's SoS also doing well

New Delhi: Shahrukh Khan has yet again sprinkled the magic of romance on screen. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh reveals on celebrity favorite mouthpiece Twitter that the late legendary directorial film 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' has become SRK's biggest opener.

Adarsh tweets, "#JTHJ India biz [15.23 cr nett] is *highest ever* for any film released on Laxmi puja day. It is also @iamsrk 's biggest opener so far."

SRK has revived the magic of his lover boy image with two beautiful ladies Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. JTHJ has done an excellent business at the box office on the opening day despite getting mix reviews from the moviegoers across the country.

Shahrukh plays an army officer Samar Anand in the film, while Anushka Sharma (Akira Rai) and Katrina Kaif (Meera) have played two ladies opposite him.

Meanwhile, another big box office release 'Son of Sardaar' is not lagging much behind JTHJ. Adarsh reveals that SoS has collected Rs 10.72 cr on the opening day.

Taran tweets, "INDIA Boxoffice - Tuesday: #JTHJ 15.23 cr [2500 screens] ... #SOS 10.72 cr [2000 screens]."

Directed by Ashwini Dhir, Son of Sardaar stars Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt. The film is a real entertainer, a delightful comedy which has few genuine moments to laugh on.
