Shekhar Kapur is making Paani with Hrithik, not with Ranbir

Mumbai: Oscar nominated Bollywood filmmaker has made it clear that he has not roped in Ranbir Kapoor for his upcoming film Paani.

As per the grapevines, the director had removed Hrithink Roshan from his ambitious project and instead asked Ranbir to essay his role. These speculations were made after a recent meeting between Shekhar and the star actor.

However, Kapur used his twitter account to clear the smudge and wrote, "Oops! Can't I meet an actor I like without setting off rounds of speculation? And would anyone be silly enough to give up Hrithik for a film?"

He further detailed about his meeting with the Rockstar actor and added, "Press asking why I've been seen with Ranbir Kapoor. I really enjoy listening to him. Future of Indian Cinema safe in this breed of new stars,"

Shekhar's upcoming film, shot in India and Singapore is about future world, based on water wars in 2040. The story will revolve around the shortage of the most valuable resource in future.
