Mumbai: Praising Saif Ali Khan, Bollywood actor Soha Ali Khan said that she was very anxious to spend time with her brother in the city of Nawabs.
Soha, who was in Lucknow to inaugurate a fashion store, said, "I was more than eager to come to Lucknow, apart from professional commitments, because I could get time to spend with Bhai (Saif). Although we did meet for a day during Diwali, but we haven't had that heart-to-heart chat in a long time."
Remembering her father, the actor said, "His passing away is a tragedy that my family has still not been able to get over. There's such a void. Thankfully, Bhai and I live in Mumbai, so we don't really have to face his absence everyday and I can still think sometimes that he's there in Delhi and I can go and hug him anytime I want."
But it's really tough for Amma and Saba, who live in Delhi and have to face the void everyday. We, as a family, Amma, Bhai, Kareena, Saba and myself, we meet as much as possible now, just to give each other strength," she added.
When asked about her marriage plans, Soha said that all her relatives have been asking her this especially since Saif has got married. But she is not ready to get married now. She said, "I am in a lovely relationship and I want to continue with it till I feel it's time to formalise it."
Soha said that she firmly believe in a woman being confident of herself, of being financially independent and most importantly being mature and responsible enough to be a wife. "I feel I still am not all that and more, and the day I feel I am, I'll get married. In fact, my mom also thinks I'm still not mature. But jokes apart, I have a wonderful partner who believes in me and respects my decision, and I respect his. So, as of now neither of us needs to get married. We have brilliantcareers and we are concentrating on those right now. Marriage is not a priority with me right now."
Soha is gearing up for her next project Joe Bhi Karva Lo
opposite Arshad Warsi. Besides this, Soha is looking forward to the release of , in March , 2013.
