Sonakshi Sinha begins shoot for the big one

Mumbai: Famous as the Dabangg girl, Shatrughan Sinha's daughter Sonakshi Sinha has stamped 'yes' that she is playing lead in the Hindi remake of Tamil hit "Thuppakki".

Sonakshi has begun the shoot for the film and has also said that she was pretty excited about the film.

"Because I only talk about a film after I've signed it, it's my pleasure to share with you all that we started shooting the 'Thuppakki' remake today. Looking forward to working with this team," Sonakshi tweeted Thursday.

In "Thuppakki", Sonakshi will once again feature with Akshay Kumar, with whom she has done films like "Rowdy Rathore" and "Joker".
The Sinha girl made her debut in the Hindi film industry with 2010's Dabangg opposite Salman Khan, which went onto become the highest grossing Bollywood film of the year.

In 2012, the 25-year-old actor appeared in Rowdy Rathore and Joker, alongside Akshay Kumar. Sinha will be starring in the upcoming films Arbaaz Khan's Dabangg 2 and Vikramaditya Motwane's Lootera.
