South’s Kajal to deliver Mary Kom punch first, Priyanka or Katrina to follow!
Mumbai: MC Marykom's recent Olympic award winning performance is a source of inspiration for filmmakers who look for an impressive and interesting subject.

Despite strong reports that Sanjay Leela Bhasali is making a movie on her life and Priyanka is going to play boxer Marykom’s role in it, South filmmakers have scored a point over making movie with it.

'Ghajini' fame director AR Murugadoss' Tamil thriller Thupakki is ready for release and 'Singham' famed actress Kajal Aggarwal is essaying the role of boxer depicting shades of Mary Kom in it.

Kajal is playing role of boxer Nisha, a strong willed and impulsive girl in the movie. In a bid to prepare for this role, she watched her matches to understand and learn her body language.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra is busy going through Bhansali's script. According to reports she will be playing the lead role in it. Its director Omung Kumar who was associated as art director with Bhansali's critically acclaimed projects like Black and 'Saawariya' is also tightlipped about the final word.

However, he is keen on casting someone who can essay role with much conviction and adding glam to it. Omung stated that chosen star will have to go through the training to prepare herself for the role.

So, Marykom's fans can content themselves with Kajal's punch till Bollywood's Priyanka or Katrina ready themselves with it!
