Sridevi joins Twitter to promote English Vinglish?

Mumbai: The trend of publicising self on social network, in India, had apparently been pioneered by stripping queen Poonam Pandey. She was followed by Sunny Leone, Rozlyn Khan, Sherlyn Chopra and few more. But these names are of those struggling ladies who did it for their motive of hogging eyeballs.The latest to join the Twitter club is Bollywood's quintessential Hawa hawai Sridevi!
The first tweet from by the veteran actress reads, "Hello everyone. Thanks to my daughter, I am finally on Twitter. I am still learning but I will try to be in regular touch with all of you."
Sridevi also posted a picture of her complete family that compiles the actress, husband Boney Kapoor and two daughters, Jhanvi and Khushi.
Meanwhile, Sridevi is also making her Bollywood comeback with Gauri Shinde's English Vinglish. Well, signing up on twitter may be an act of promotion of her B-Town comeback.
The film is slated for an October 5 release. The movie is the story of a housewife, her struggle with the English language and the insecurities she faces because of it.
