New Delhi: According to the recent updates about the one of the most awaited exams of the year, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is planning to conduct the Combined Graduate Level 2013 (CGL) reexamination in April 2014.
The reports suggest that the reexamination is most likely to take place in April 2014, though the exact date of the examination is yet to be decided.
Because of the alleged irregularities in the SSC CGL 2013 examination, the commission had identified the seven centers for the reexamination i.e. Lucknow, Patna, Allahabad, Delhi, Jaipur, Shimla and Dehradun.
The aspirants from these centers will have to undergo the test yet another time. The source also revealed that the CGL 2013 reexamination dates will be announced very soon.
Meanwhile, the SSC CGL 2013 examination had been conducted in two phases – Tire I on April 21 and May 19, 2013 and Tire II on September 29, 2013.
But following the reports of the investigating agencies, which reveal the use of unfair means at a number of centers, the reexamination will have to be conducted.
"Keeping in view the sanctity of the examination, interest of the candidates and the investigation report received from Delhi Police, it has been decided by the government to hold re-examination of Tier-I and II at identified centres from where reports of use of unfair means have been received," the Ministry of Personnel said in a release issued today.
All the information about the reexamination process will very soon be uploaded over SSC’s official website: www.ssc.nic.in.
The commission also revealed that the candidates who were inside the age limit last year and nor are not eligible, will also be permitted to sit in the reexamination.
Pardaphash team wishes all the very best to all the applicants of SSC CGL 2013.
