Suresh Raina disregards Pakistan, apologizes later

New Delhi: India's star middle order batsman Suresh Raina seems to be getting beyond the edge as far as sportsman spirit is concerned. While posting his tweets over social network Twitter, Raina used inappropriate words for the Pakistan team which lost to Sri Lanka in semi final on Thursday. But the batsman later apologized for his deed.

Insulting India's arch rival Raina wrote on his Twitter account "Ek Do din late gaye ghar!!!! Vah bhi besharm ki tarah gaye…Bye bye Pakistan! (Probably you have got late by a day or two and that too like a shameless fellow)".

He further tweeted that he has come home after a long duration and is quite happy to join his IPL team Chennai Super Kings for Champions league which kicks off on October 13.

Seeing the tweet going wrong against the Pakistan team, Raina immediately removed it from his Twitter handle. Justifying this, he later tweeted 'smartphones can be dangerous, I came to know this last night when my nephew posted some nonsense on my Twitter handle. I am a sports person and can not disrespect my opponents in any which ways."

"I have deleted the tweet. But I thought that this needed a serious explanation from my side. Those who have felt bad about this, I appologise to them. I am not someone who would make someone see down," wrote Raina.

Those who have known Raina personally, have said that he can't do it intentionally. He is such a charming guy. Someone else may have done it from his account.

Raina has been an essential part of the Chennai Super Kings and holds the record for playing all the matches that his team has played. Off late, he also made the record for reaching the landmark of 2000 runs in the IPL. He has been a wonderful fielder ever since he has started playing Cricket.
