Surprise hit Raaz 3 makes INR 50 crore in less than a week

Mumbai: Emraan Hashmi, Bipasha Basu and Esha Gupta starrer Raaz 3 which opened to negative reviews from critics has made surprisingly good business. The collections have landed to near about INR 50.35 crores so far and are expected to rise as the film is about to complete its first week. The flick seems to have maintained a constant momentum with above INR 2.50 crore's collection from overseas too.

Vikram Bhatt's directorial made a considerable business in its first weekend itself. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the weekend collections including Monday and wrote, "#Raaz3 Thu previews 58 lacs, Fri 10.47 cr, Sat 11.18 cr, Sun 13.79 cr, Mon 5.74 cr. total: 41.76 cr nett. Excellent!"

The sum total of business across the world at present is about INR 52.85 crore. With this hit, the film's star cast definitely has a firmer background to stand on. It is estimated that it will manage about INR 54.5 crore by the end of its first week. However, Anurag Kashyap's much awaited Barfi! release might take a toll on Raaz 3's collections.

On the positive side, Barfi! is not a single screen movie, hence Raaz 3 can still manage to mint some profit.
