Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushma Swaraj expressed her concern about Bollywood actor Manisha Koiral's health, who was diagnosed with cancer on Thursday.
Manisha (42) admitted to Jaslok Hospital after she fell unconscious and underwent few check-ups. Later, the actor was diagnosed with cancer. She was advised to remain under observation by the doctors attending on her.
The news spread like a fire after which politician Sushma Swaraj tweeted, "I am deeply concerned abt Manisha Koirala's health. Koirala family is very close to us. She is like a daughter to me. Pray she is well soon."
Manisha's family members are worried with the alarming news but the actor has taken the development very sportingly and has told that she is ready to fight the disease.
Apart from Sushma, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma and actor Gulshan Grover wished Manisha good health.
Her mother Sushma is already by her side and soon her father Prakash and her brother Siddhartha would join her in this difficult time.
Manisha, who hails from Nepal, made her Bollywood debut with Saudagar in 1991, and recently made a comeback with Ram Gopal Varma's Bhoot Returns.
