Yes, the Friday release of the two-times blockbuster would be 'gripping the globe' with its third and last edition - The Dark Knight Rises, opening today.
The Christopher Nolan directed flick is one of the most eagerly awaited releases of the year and promises to be a real belter. Batman edition's second release The Dark Knight was subsequently one of the biggest hit of 2008, when it hit the theatres.
The movie's last occurrence at the 16mm screen deals with a Gotham City abandoned by Batman and terrorized by the villain Bane.
Nolan, who got substantial acknowledgment for his first two releases has not gone into the deepest of the technicalities for shaping the movie. He opted rather for the conventional methods of making the film to bring it more closer to reality. The movie has been shot at various locations across three continents.
The heart-pumper daring sequences that have been the feature of the earlier Batman movies would surpass all the previous attempts as the critics acclaim that this is going to be the most thrilling of them all.
Apart from this, the director has made a sexy addition to the flick in the form of Anne Hathway being casted against Christian Bale and Michael Caine. Tom Hardy would be featuring as the deadly Bane.
During a recent interview, Hathway was quoted as saying that she went through rigorous training sessions in kick-boxing and mixed martial arts for her role.
"I'd always thought I was pretty healthy and I always thought I had worked hard in the gym. It turns out that what I thought was hard, in Catwoman's world is actually light to moderate," the actress revealed during the talk.
