Toyota Camry to get sexier in India

Chennai: The sexy sedan that rules the hearts of millions across the globe would now be seen in a more steamy look. We are talking about Toyota Kirloskar Motor's (TKM) highest selling machine Camry.

The company is all set to launch all-new premium version of the luxury car in the country and it would be assembled at the company's Bangalore facility.

"We are going to launch Camry on the 24th of this month from New Delhi.", TKM Deputy Managing Director (Marketing) Sandeep Singh said here.

Though, the details on the new version are not available but the car would be packed with sensational new feature as per the sources.

Singh on the other hand said that the mechanism of the car would be imported and accumulated at the Bangalore plant.

"We have enough space there to produce the sedan,” he added.

The car was launched through a joint venture between Japan's Toyota Motor Corp and the Kirloskar Group. Currently, the car manufactured in Japan.

Highly acclaimed by the car lovers, Camry is one of the largest selling cars for Toyota globally.
Singh said to a question that Toyota did quite well in terms of sales.

"We are doing quite well in terms of sales. We are targeting to sell 1, 70, 000 units of the car this year as compared to 1, 31, 000 units last year", Singh ended saying.
