Uddhav Thackeray hospitalised after chest pain

Mumbai: Executive president of Shiv Sena, Uddhav Thackeray was admitted to Lilavati Hospital on Monday, following a chest pain.

According to a top party official, "He is undergoing some medical tests, but we are not sure what exactly the problem is. He may be discharged in a day or so."

A team of doctors attending on Thackeray is expected to issue a medical bulletin later on Monday, the official added.

An avid photographer, Thackeray, who will turn 52 later this month, is the son of Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray and has been handling the party affairs since 2004.
