UGC’s NET online applications link not working | Application submission date extended to 4th May, 2012

Jaipur: Awful working of online form filling link for National Eligibility Test (NET)- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) on the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) website have troubled the eligible aspirants.Students are facing difficulty as the link that connects to the application form has stopped working since the last two-three days. This is not the first time the problem came as last year too students have suffered with such problems.
Keeping in mind, UGC this year had extended the last date by four days, but still aspirants are facing problem due to the crashing of the concerned link.
Earlier Date to apply was April 30
Last Date to apply after extension is May 4
Exam date: 24 June 2012
Problems are affecting the students many ways and one most important is the wastage of their time as they keep checking every hour to fill the form. Next is the wastage of money as many go to cyber café’s to surf internet.
