UP Board Class 12 results announced | Students await their laptops now

Allahabad: UP Board Intermediate (Class 12) Results were announced on Tuesday, June 5 and recorded a pass percentage of 89.4.

As per the reports, Abhilasha Yagya Saini and Apoorva Verma of Maharani Laxmibai Memorial College, Barabanki, are the toppers with 96.20 percent.

Ashutosh Singh of Lucknow is on the second spot with 89.40 percent. Girls have gained superior results than boys with pass percentage of 95.52 while boys managed 84.73 pass percent.

The UP Class 12th Results 2012 was announced by the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Allahabad, after 12.30 pm today. Now, every successful student is waiting for the promise made by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to provide laptops to successful student.

Recently Akhilesh tabled his budget and arranged Rs 2721 crore for the laptops and tablets for class 10 successful candidates.

According to UP Board Secretary Vasudev Yadav, this year students have been waiting for their results very eagerly because of the laptops and tablets promised.

As per the reports, this year over 25 lakh students have appeared for the Class 12 examination held in March/April. Last year 80 percent students of UP Board cleared this examination.
