New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission authorities have planned to hold three-day exclusive tests with an aim to lock around 1,300 vacant posts of Indian Police Service (IPS) officers across India. This examination would begin on 20th May, 2012.
As per the latest updates regarding examination the Indian Police Service Limited Competitive Examination (LCE) 2012 has been scheduled on 20, 21 and 22 May-2012 at seven different centres including Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata and Nagpur.
Along with this updates reveals that an officer who has hold continuous and actual service as Deputy Superintendent of Police for five years in states under State Police Service, Assistant Commandants in CPMFs, or officers of the rank of Captain or Major or equivalent in the Armed forces who have an unblemished service record are eligible to take the exams.
Candidates may download the e-Admit Cards via Commission's official Website http://www.upsc.gov.in .
