Mumbai: If 2006 release Pyaar Ke Side Effects starring Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose connected to you on a personal level, then get ready for a bit of more reality dose in its sequel Shaadi Ke Side Effects. The follow-on did take some time to come up, but it appears promising with the two very talented actors Farhaan Akhtar and Vidya Balan in the lead.

The sequel portrays a picture of what actually happens when the central characters Sid and Trisha get married and how their love story goes on. Producer Pritish Nandy says that SKSE is an amusing, witty, wild film that shows the difference in love before and after marriage. The movie will have a strong connectivity with modern day couples like its 2006 prequel.

Saket Choudhary will direct the film and music will be given by Pritam. Actor Farhan Akhtar is excited about the project as he was looking forward to work with Vidya and he will get to work in a romantic-comedy for the first time. Pritish Nandy is very confident about the skilled star cast and feels that the actors will make the film out of ordinary.

Vidya Balan appreciated the original and thus she happily agreed for the sequel too. She said, "Saket's observation of relationships is simple and that makes it naturally and perhaps sometimes even unintentionally funny, mad and sexy."

The shoots for SKSE will begin soon, but the release dates are yet to be confirmed.
