Chennai: The former chief minister of Maharashtra and now a Union Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, was rushed to a private hospital as his health conditions worsened. He remains critical as the doctors are giving it the best to make his condition stable.
Deshmukh, who is facing health problems from some time now, was brought by a special flight around 6 pm and was rushed to the hospital immediately in an ambulance.
As per the reports, he is suffering from liver and kidney failure and chances of recovery are seen to be very less as the doctors have put him on life support systems. The hospital authorities have not made any comments on the health of the Technology Minister.
When asked about the health of Deshmukh, an official from the hospital told that doctors are studying the case and will do the best to make his health condition stable.
