Violence extends with another attack in Assam | 7 dead in 48 hours, curfew imposed

Dispur: Seemingly, the violent conditions in the state are getting poor instead of fairing up. On Monday night, armed reprobates entered Ranighuli village and open fired at the villagers in which three of them died on the spot and two others were injured.

According to the reports, the episode occurred at around 11 pm. The miscreants fled away from the location before police could arrive, leaving behind many eyes in tears. Police for now has secured the area and indefinite curfew has been imposed.

A day before, on Sunday, four corpses were recovered from Kokrajhar and Chirang districts as the result of the aggression.
