Husband killed for demanding extra sex!

Mumbai: In a bizarre incident, doctor wife killed her husband after entering into heated argument over his demand for repeated sex. The incident took place in Borivali area. She then tried to mislead cops as she informed that his husband died due to an electric shock while repairing a fan.

However, her false claims were exposed when autopsy reports confirmed that husband has died of strangulation and his skull was fractured prior to it. Subsequently, she was arrested by the police. The incident took place in Jagannath building at Rokadia Lane in Borivli West in Mumbai.

According to the police, the doctor wife Pragya Bhattacharya and her husband Tushar entered into hated argument after Tushar demanded for second time sex. While she resisted him, a scuffle took place and husband lost his balance, hit his head on wall and collapsed on to the floor.

She strangulated him and later on narrated story that an accident took place. The two were married for 20 years and have daughter of 18 years age. While Dr Pragya belongs to Gujarat, her husband Tushar hails from Karnataka.

After receiving information from Pragya, the Borivali police registered case of an Accidental Death Report (ADR). However, autopsy report revealed strangulation as the cause of death. Based on reports, she had been booked under sections 199, 201 and 302.
