Respond on contempt notice: Supreme Court to Karnan

The Supreme Court today permitted the CBSE to declare NEET 2017 results and stayed a Madras High Court order restraining the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) from declaring the result of NEET 2017 for under graduate medical courses.

Allowing the board to declare the results and go ahead with consequential steps including counselling and admissions, the vacation bench of Justice Prafulla C. Pant and Justice Deepak Gupta said that no High Court across the country would entertain any plea relating to the NEET 2017.
