New Delhi: It was a hot, sunny Saturday in the capital as the maximum temperature settled three notches above average at 42 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast similar weather on Sunday.
"The skies will be sunny tomorrow (Saturday) and the afternoon will be similarly hot," said the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Maoists kill village leader in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Maoists killed a village leader on Saturday in Odisha's Malkangiri district, two days after abducting him along with two others, police said.
The rebels, however, released the other two unharmed.
According to Superintendent of Police Akhileswar Singh, a group of Maoists seized the three on Thursday night at gun point in Mahupadar village, over 700 km from Bhubaneswar.
