Kailashnath Mahadev (143 ft in Nepal)

Lord Shiva, the destroyer of evil, is most praised and worshipped of all the Gods. In Nepal Shiva’s presence can be felt everywhere and it has been stated that Mt. Kailash in the Himalayas is the abode of Lord Shiva or Mahadeva as he is also known. Kailashnath Mahadev is located in Kathmandu in Nepal is an example. Many thousands of devotees of Lord Shiva throng to take a glimple of Shiva’s tallest structure in standing pose. It is about 43.5 metres (143 ft) copper colored statue and the face is serene, pleasant and welcoming to the believers and travellers.
