Video calling services via landline phone: BSNL

New Delhi: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has planned to upgrade its service list for landline phones users and soon, landline users are will be able to use video call facilities.

As per the updates, BSNL has joint hands with SIS Infosystems and Video calling facility will be easily available on public PCO booths and may call via IP phone.

In reference to this RK Upadhay (BSNL Chairman and MD) said that this step to upgrade services would boost revenue for the company. Along with this he added that the video calling services on landline phones would affect the requirement of Computers.

Landline Video Calling Price:

Report says, with the starting of this service any ordinary person will be able to get connected with the video calling facility and one just need to pay Rs 3 for 45 seconds.

Benefits for franchise owners: The Company will pay 30% of the total bill to the franchise.

Future of Video Calling PCO Booths:

In relation to this official disclosed that there are around 770 PCO booths and soon we are in a plan to convert them all to VCO booths and apart from this we are in a plan to touch 10,000 Video calling booths mark.
