UP Jal Nigam MD Asudani has resigns under political pressure

Lucknow: Facing political pressure from ruling Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh, the Managing Director (MD) of Jal Nigam, P. K. Asudani has resigned from his post.

Basically, UP Jal Nigam is one of biggest board in Urban Development Board.

According to our sources, Asudani has resigned from his post because of facing political pressure from UP Urban Development Minister and Chairman of Jal Nigam, Azam Khan.


Interestingly, the UP Jal Nigam Board is facing financial crunch and was not be able to pay the salary of its employees.

Asudani has served his resignation to Azam Khan at time when near about its 600 engineers have gone on strike.


There is difference of opinion between Asudani and Azam regarding promotion list of employees in the Jal Board which seem to be the reason behind his resignation.

Speaking to Pardaphash.com Asudani briefed about the reason of his resignation and said that due to he was not be able to provide basic benefit to engineers and employees of the board.


Asudani who has served his resignation was about to retirement on February, 2017.
