27 killed, 65 injured in road accident in Pak

Islamabad: As per the information given by the police, minimum of 27 people lost their lives while 65 others suffered injuries when two buses collided in Pakistan’s Punjab province.

The accident took place in Rahim Yar Khan district’s Khanpur area and the police informed that one of the buses was on its way from Karachi to Bahawalpur and the other was heading to Sadiqabad from Faisalabad.

According to Rahim Yar Khan police spokesperson Arshad Nawaz, the accident was so stern that the bodies of the dead and injured could only be recovered after cutting through the bodies of the vehicles.
