New Delhi: The Aam Admi Party (AAP)’s former Delhi Social and Welfare Minister Sandeep Kumar who was sacked by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal yesterday over his involvement in sex tape objectionable CD, today appeared before media persons to clarifies his stand.

Sandeep tweeted on Thursday that he was being targeted as he was a Dalit and alleged there was a “conspiracy” behind the alleged sex tape to frame him.

Kumar mentioned in his tweets, “I am a Dalit and I am paying for it. There is some conspiracy against me.”

He said, “Charging and proving anything on people like me with the money power is not a big deal.”

Kumar further added, “I have got a statue of Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar at my house and I talk about Dalits and that’s why I am being targeted.”

Kumar was sacked from his post on Wednesday by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal saying he had received an “objectionable” CD on him and there cannot be any compromise with propriety in public life.

Interestingly, Kumar is the third minister who has been removed out of the cabinet by Kejriwal since the formation of the government in February 2015.
