Actress Kirna Sharma has no support of family for acting

Mumbai: Small screen actress Kiran Sharma who plays role of Kanta Chachi in her Television show “Zindagi Ki Mehek”, today said that she has no support of her family to work in Bollywood movies.

Kiran says when she landed in Mumbai to try her luck as an actress in film industry she has just Rs 2,000 in her pocket to survive in the Metropolitan city.

Kiran said in statement, “It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that ‘Zindagi Ki Mehek’ is a lifetime opportunity for me. I’ve put in a lot of effort to reach here. From a very young age, I dreamt of becoming an actor, but the path was full of obstacles.”

She added, “I didn’t get any support from my family. With only Rs 2,000, I took up this challenge and started my struggle. I always believed that my hard work would pay off some day and then theatre happened to me. And, that was the biggest turning point of my life.”

Kirna said, while talking about her role in the Zee TV show: “Kanta is a responsible woman and cares for everyone. She is a selfless person and devotes herself totally to the things she does. To portray the character effortlessly on the screen, I try to enter Kanta’s state of mind and match her wavelength.”
