After Shivpal, Amar Singh threatens to quit Samajwadi Party

New Delhi: Former national general secretary of Samajwadi Party and Rajya Sabha member from Uttar Pradesh Amar Singh who has joined party six years today threatened to quit the party.

Senior SP leader Amar Singh alleging that he was being insulted and sidelined following his return to the fold after six years and this is the reason that he has threatened to quit the party.

This is the second dissension bomb in SP only days after the rift between Akhilesh and his uncle and Public Works Department minister Shivpal Singh Yadav was bridged by party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.

The former national general secretary also accused some people in the party of trying to humiliate him and his associate, actress-turned-politician Jaya Prada along with his name.
