New Delhi: Two more accused were today granted bail by a court in the AgustaWestland helicopter deal case.

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Special Judge Arvind Kumar permitted the bail of the Delhi-based Media Exim Pvt. Ltd’s Director R.K. Nanda and former Director J.B. Subramaniyam subsequent to the payment of personal bonds of Rs 1 lakh and sureties of the like amount each. The scam was of mammoth amount of Rs 3,600 crore ($528 million).

The court had previously said that there were adequate evidence against Nanda and Subramaniyam under Section 45 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act and had considered a supplementary charge sheet in the case.

However, there was a fresh charge sheet filed against British national Christian Michel James, Media Exim, Nanda and Subramaniyam by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in June last year.
