AgustaWestland Row: BJP to make startling revelations in RS today

New Delhi: Ahead of the high action drama in the Rajya Sabha today, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the senior party leaders including Manohar Parrikar, Rajnath Singh and Venkaiah Naidu to discuss the strategy to attack the opposition party Congress in the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper deal.

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar will address the Rajya Sabha at 2.00 pm and it is expected that he would bring out few startling revelations in the controversial chopper deal.

BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said that criminal case behind the AgustaWestland deal would be made clear today. He said, “The case will be made out. So far, facts have been floating. The fact is the whole thing fits into a criminal case. What is that criminal case, that will be made clear today.”

Meanwhile, Congress President Sonia Gandhi denied revealing the party’s strategy to counter the BJP allegations. She said, “You will see the strategy in the House.”
