Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav here on Sunday after casting his vote in the third phase of the state assembly elections, 2017 and then talking to the media wished that the odds would be in the favor of all Samajwadi Party candidates.

Budayun MP Dharmendra Yadav accompanied Akhilesh at the Abhinav Vidyalaya polling booth in his native village of Etawah. While talking to the media, Chief Minister Akhilesh stated an obvious statement that he voted for the Samajwadi Party and the reason was the development could further be expedited in the state.

He got frustrated while confronting the media when the media persons asked him about his father Mulayam Singh Yadav not accompanying him for vote like he always does.

Avoiding the question, he further stated that the people of Uttar Pradesh will cast their votes in large numbers in the favor of Congress-SP alliance.

Another question when asked by the media about ‘Netaji’ not turning up for joint rallies with him, answering to the question Akhilesh went on to say that the reason behind ‘Netaji’s’ absence was that he probably wanted to cover other areas of the state.
