Akhilesh Yadav led UP government hikes salary of ministers

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today announced that his government has decided to increase the salary of Cabinet Ministers along with state Ministers including CM salary too.

In major decision taken by ruling Samajwadi party government in the state has decided to hike salaries of Cabinet Ministers from the current package of 12,000 up-to 30,000 per month to 12,000-40,000.

Likewise the state Ministers will get salary from 12,000 per month up-to 35,000 per month.

The Chief Minister has taken this decision in a cabinet meeting on Wednesday morning in which he has given approval to many major proposals.

Briefing media persons after the cabinet meeting, he said that Samajwadi party is going to form government again in the state after the election in 2017.

Akhilesh further said that his Laptop distributing scheme to the poor children’s proves that his efforts were liked by the people of the state, which gives evidence that people of Uttar Pradesh will again select his government in the upcoming state assembly election in 2017.
