Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadva today invited expelled BJP state vice-president, Dayashankar Singh and wife Swati Singh to join Samajwadi Party.

Basically it happened at an award function to felicitate women achievers where the CM was the chief guest and Dayashankar along with his wife Swati Singh, now state president of the BJP Mahila Morcha, were present as an audience when Akhilesh openly offered them to join Samajwadi Party.

Akhilesh Yadav spotted Dayashankar and Swati in the audience and said he had arrested the BJP leader when “Bua ji” (BSP chief Mayawati) repeatedly requested him for action against the BJP leader for his alleged derogatory remarks against her.

He said, “I ordered quick action and several police teams were formed at what happened thereafter, he very well knows,” pointing towards Dayashankar and then suddenly offered him to join SP.
