New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the water crisis here on Saturday.
“The Chief Minister will formally meet the Prime Minister here tomorrow (Saturday), where issues relating to governance and drought and water scarcity will figure,” an informed source said here.

On Friday, Samajwadi Party (SP) raised the issue of an ‘empty water train’ reaching Bundelkhand in the Rajya Sabha.
However, on Thursday SP accused the Modi government of playing politics over water crisis or drought.
State government also said that nobody had requisitioned water from the union government as there was not much need.
